We know what its like! You have passed your RYA Competent Crew, Day Skipper theory and practical and now you want to go further. But there is one thing getting in your way. Miles at sea; tidal and lots of them! .You need to complete some quality mile building trips.
We can help!
Gibraltar is the perfect place to build those valuable miles needed for Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster. Spain and Morocco are just around the corner but for some real sea time we go as far as Portugal and Melilla, a small Spanish territory deep into the Moroccan Mediterranean coast. Twice a year, we even sail to Seville! Great fun!
But you don't need just any old sea miles. You need quality, tidal sea miles that will count towards your next RYA qualification. Miles where you will learn something and that will really build on your experience. All our mile building trips are conducted by qualified RYA instructors with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We aim for 400 – 500 miles a week, weather permitting. Trips run throughout the year. Contact us for dates.
Two Week Adventure Sailing to Seville via the river Guadalquivir and the Donana National Park. An RYA instructor will accompany you on the trip to help you achieve an RYA qualification on the way. This trip is suitable for Competent Crew through to Yachtmaster or those wanting to build tidal miles.
Twice A Year
Leave Gibraltar on Monday morning and head west through the Straits to Barbate. Continue our passage west to Rota and explore the old town. On to Chipiona then begin our journey 85km up the River Guadalquivir. Head up river early on Friday morning through the Donana National Park, full of birdlife. Pass through the lock and moor up in the heart of Seville at the Club Nautico. You have a weekend to explore this beautiful city. Visit the Giralda, the ancient bell tower and the Torre del Oro. See the cathedral and wander the streets of the old town ending up in Plaza De Espana. Head down river Monday and make our way back to Gibraltar, stopping at ports such as the fishing villages of Bonanza and Sancti Petri.

Includes 7 nights (10% discount if sharing a cabin). All marina fees and fuel is included as will be all breakfasts, lunches and three evening meals each week. On six nights you are free to eat out in some great local restaurants.
