Summer has arrived and we are basking in temperatures in the mid to upper 20s now. You can now fly direct to Gibraltar with Easy Jet from Bristol so those of you based in Wales or the South West of England can save the journey to London. Flight prices into Gibraltar this summer are climbing due to limited availability but there is still time to grab a Malaga flight with a discounted airline. We are only a short hop along the coast.
Rock Sailing ran our first of the new RYA Cruising Instructor courses last month and now has three new instructors. Lizzie and Jack have since worked for us with great reviews and Douglas will be joining us when the day job allows. We are looking forward to welcoming back Amanda who has spent a year teaching in the Caribbean but feels that it is now time to come back and Rock.
Our Express Day Skipper course is our most popular course this season. 9 days of combined Day Skipper Theory and Practical will get you that ticket to charter. If you are completely new to sailing, our two week Day Skipper Module will get you there. If you prefer a skippered charter you can gain your qualification with family or friends in tidal Gibraltar before going it alone. With a yacht and instructor to yourselves you can enjoy a sailing holiday taking in Morocco and the Costa del Sol with time in the day for a swim, a camel ride and a visit to the souk.
